Just seen the Doom board game on eBay and realise that I mustn't buy it at this time so I thought I'd share the pain with you guys:

just had a quick glimpse at the FFG website - do I take it that the DooM board game is no longer in production?

I thought it had been out of print for a couple of years.

I can only find one used copy on Amazon.co.uk

This is one game I've been considering getting for a while, but never really got round to it.
The miniatures and floor plans are great, but I think the price of game put me off - Of course if the game had minis of the monsters original DooM and DooM II I'd have bought it strait away as soon as I saw it

I just love the classics - you know Reaper did a limited edition range of DooM miniatures back in the 90's, I really wish I had some!

Very nice.! I have a metal cyberdemon which came with a collector's set.   Painting it would be just wrong.  Maybe I should post a pic.

Update:  The Doom boardgame went for £79 + £10 p&p.    :o   (that's $139 appx for our US readers ;) )

Impressive.

A random image search came up with this which looks like the one I have:

About 6 cm tall, if I remember right.

I saw this on ebay about a year ago when I was going through somewhat of a gaming spend frenzy!!! I can't remember how much exactly I paid for the game in the end, but i think it was somewhere between £50-70. Its in excellent condition 100% complete so was very happy to win it :)

You know what, It's been nearly a year and I haven't even had a proper look at the contents, let alone read the rules!....let alone play the damn thing!!! I know it is shocking! But at the time my gaming group were in the midst of a great HeroQuest campaign. Then we moved onto playing Talisman 2nd edition none stop; which evolved into 4th edition, where we seem to be still to this day!

I want to get a Space Crusade campaign running and if my group like that I think i'll move them towards DooM!!!! Everyone loves a bit of DooM!!!!!!! :)

Lover of Talisman, HeroQuest, Space Crusade and Space Hulk!
