Deamon Prince WIP

A nice start using the deciver as the base, you could do all sorts of things with it. Not so sure what head would look best on it, if you're doing a slaaneshi prince then something fairly human with horns would be the route I'd take. For arms I'd recomend getting hold of some of the plastic ones from the chaos spawn, lots of differant combinations to be had there and they shouldn't look to out of scale on that body.

Yea, agreed with Rob on the plastic Chaos Spawn parts for the arms, for the head I’d go for a Steed of Slaanesh or something similar. Feathered wings (Pegasus Wings maybe?) would look good too, give it a sort of twisted yet angelic look.

kinda what i wanted mort, was thinking of bloodletter sworde for a torment blade.

Just looked at spawn bit, arms may be a bit large, but one head looks good for him/ her/ it.

bretonian pegasus wings would look cool, especially as he looks like hs/she/it has just taken off. Chaos knight shoulder pad (the skull ones) may cover the deceiver flesh/ fabric join and look kinda cool.

Give the Chaos Spawn arms a try, you might have to trim the shoulder joint a bit to get them to join smoothly to the body, but I don’t think they’d be out of proportion (and it’s a demon after all, who’s to say how big it’s arms are …). Chaos warrior/knight shoulder plates should cover the joints nicely, but I’ll warn you that the current range don’t realty have shoulder plates like the old ones did, might want to try Chaos Spacemarines should pads, which should work nicely with a little filing here and there. A Bloodletter Hellblade sword would awesome, why not have it with one in each hand!

Ok, bit of an update.

After trawling the net and seeing how many other deamon princes are based on deceiver there has been a bit of a change.

No longer is he floating in midair on 2 really twisty bits of cloth, an hour with clippers, knife and file he is now ready to be running at the foe.

This has meant the tail has been moved to a better position extended behind him.

Once i have tidied him up fully, i will get a pic up.

Nice to see a work in progress.Never be afraid to ask for help if you need it-thats kept me sober for 7 years.What do you guys do just cut up old figures or buy parts & then add your own stuff?Nice to see creativity alive.
