Commissars Tank

I bought the newer style Lemon Russ battle Tank.

Likes
1 The new track guards.
2 The whopping big search light.
3 The smaller hunter killer missile (Rocket)
4 The big bull dozer blade that looks great with the detail of the rams.
5 The heavy stubber.

Dislikes
1 Should be cheaper to buy then I would buy more of them.

Extra bits
1 Commissar,s head from the Baneblade kit.
2 Odd bits from Tanya tanks.
3 plastic card.
4 a land raiders door.
5 new rhino top hatch doors.
6 A 1;72 gun shield from an old broken model.
7 2 x heavy plasma guns from a demolisher kit.
8 various tank bits I got of a mate called Mutt.
9 The bulls head shield from some Bretonion knights kit. ( Im looking out for some more of these. If anyone can help.)
10 A dwarf battle axe.
11 Grendal radar dish.

Differences I have made.

Well being a commissars tank every thing had to be tidy. Not like a gipsies caravan site.

Turret

The main gun was cut down then added some chopped up heavy bolters the to finish with the bulls head shield on top.

Added a Tanya bin to the turret + a chopped up heavy bolter ammo feed bin for the rear of the turret to act as a base for the comms dish.

Put A gun shield around the heavy stubber.

I love the new monster size search light. I made it look like it is coaxel to the heavy plasma cannon.

Hull

The heavy bolter side sponsons are bigger than the standard issue.

I shortened the lascannon,s barrel which i think makes the tank more real.

Added two Tanya gun ports to the front of the track guards to make them look like headlights.

The rear of the turret hull I rebuild using plastic card and the land raider ramp.

Iv angled the rear hull like a challenger tank and added a fuel drum. I will add another one when i get one the same size. Gw one.

Iv put the exhausts on the angled bit of the hull.

Not comparable with a gypsies caravan site in any shape or form whatsoever.

(Ye can't beat a nice pink tank.)

Lol In Czech Republic, Prague, the Czechs painted one of there old T34's in pink just to tick the russians off.
