Love your Word Bearer and Iron Warriors too, metals on the Iron Warriors look just shinny enough without looking gaudy (which mine do).

yeah , a friend of mine is a monster dark angels freak so it had to be done really . the iron warriors were done by dry-brushing boltgun metal . took a while to get it on thick enough but it does provide some nice shading round the trim .

Don’t know if this helps you, but I always put down Tin Bitz as a base coat for Boltgun Metal which gives a richer metallic than Boltgun Metal alone
