A guy called Ian Baker has written a kind of 'universal' setting in which to play Sci-fi wargames.
yes that's right a universal setting, not a universal rule-set ... A lot of the ideas are the sort of things we have discussed here on tLatD in the past and I know some of us have had similar ideas, so a lot this won't be anything new to you, but this does seem have got the attention of Scotia Grendel who are publishing it as PDFs on their website - so it might be worth a look and could prove interesting, at the very least Ian Baker has very tLatD type ideas on collecting miniatures
