COMMENT: loft model search ended in fails

a model very much like this, but 14 years old and probably shitly made, is in my loft. Im sure of it.


there is also one of these. a grey one called "Sub-mission".

so i got my old boy (64) up there with my head torch. it was dark up there, cold, surprisingly and full of crap from a family who have lived in the same house since before Chernobyl. we found some M.A.S.K toys, Starcom, GI Joe (i fucking loved my GI Joe but it appeared all the rubber bands in their waists had perished) and all manner of other crap we didnt find anything worth bothering- there are also a fair amout of early 90's undead skeletons too, i think.

all we did find was a mashed up model of a M113 mortar carrier


you have no idea how wanky mine was- but i was like 11 or 12
so long story short, i was really hoping to find the dropship, or at least the sprues, to see if i could nick some bombs and bitz off it. if i remember right its was quite a lot smaller than the Valkyrie so i doubt it would proxy. i wanted the Osprey cos i remember i did a really good job on it- i was 18 at the time!

i also was hoping to find my old skeletons as very few of them were painted but were posed very well. it would have been nice to have a go at them today with modern washes...

this may well be continued tho- im gonna send him up again once i get chance...!!
