Here's a nice bunch of products from Gale Force 9's 'Battlefield in a Box' terrain range, their pre-painted river sections. There are 4 box sets in the range Forks, Bends, Island and the main box Battlefield in a Box – Rivers which bares the 'Flames of War' logo. (I own the Forks and Island boxes and may well be buying others in the future).
If (like me) your not into small scale 2WW battles don't let the Flames of War thing put you off, because the terrain pieces are pretty much scale-less. The river sections vary from 2.5” to 3” wide (not including the banks) making them ideal to use as small rivers (or wide steams) at 28/30mm scale. Also the bridges that come in the main box set are pretty much scale-less too and work pretty well with 28/30mm figures (the stone bridge looks the better of the 2). Me and Big Cat played some battles across a table including the Battlefield in a Box rivers and bridges at Triple Helix Wargames and found the bridges have easily enough room to march 2 columns of troops mounted on standard 25mm round bases side-by-side with room to spare for jutting weapons and cloaks.
As you'd expect the pre-painting isn't particularity good (the blue of the water spills over into the earth banks in places) but it is passable and the sections also come with a little bag of green static-grass flock for you to glue along the banks. The water has an unusual satin-sheen (luster-like) finish to it rather than the gloss finish you'd expect, but this can be quickly sorted out with a quick coat of gloss varnish if it really bothers you. The river sections are also slightly sticky which means they gather dust quickly and tend to stick to each other when you stack them up to store them. (also the ones I bought had bits of the poly styrene packaging stuck to them) One thing I really like about the river sections which surprised me is that they are made of some kind of rubbery/bendly material (possibly some kind of flexible resin – tLatD scientists are still working to find out what this material is) which means they 'flop' a little when you pick them up and they will always sit flat on the table, unlike similar products made of more ridged materials which tend to warp and bend causing a see-saw effect as your troops cross them.
