So, I got myself a Valten model at the latest Triple Helix bring and buy, and.. Well.

And a comparison to my last Barbarian character "Onyx" [the crotch-thrusting bastard..]

I see a few patches that need a touch up, but all in all.. I'm fairly pleased with him.
Might call him Tryggr Egil

Re: Barbarian [For Mortis Quest!]

cool, looking forward to you using him in Quest - not sure on the name though, give me time to consider it. What kind of background are thinking for him?

He's the son of a Nobleman. Wandering to find his own way.

I love unoriginal, sometimes :3

Re: Barbarian [For Mortis Quest!]

the wandering son a nobleman should really be a Knight background wise

From the MortiS Quest Knight's background text:

"Adventuring Knights are often the younger sons of nobles, who have inherited little but their weapons and armour. Having become disillusioned with their lot in life they have taken the only road available to them: the life of an adventurer as such they travel the old world individually seeking battle both large and small."

Re: Barbarian [For Mortis Quest!]

It is. The bow came from a sprue I got there, too. The sword is from Mort.

I am still not overly happy with it, though.. It's too... flat

I like him.  Very epic.  Cool that he has the choice of weapons.
I'm glad you've stuck to "earthy" colours for him.
(Nothing worse than a luminous loin cloth in a dark dungeon ... )

That sword reminds me a lot of a sword the one of the GW chaos demon princes use.  Maybe it's just the jagged bits.

It's just the right time of year for Autumny colours :3

Cheers, though. I look forward to seeing how his weapons play. With any luck, his variety will make him more useful

The sword was originally from a chaos marauder sprue - I used the same sword on My HQ Barbarian to represent the Spirit Blade from the original Quest book - Messy has removed the runes from sword for a less magical, but still very ornate look to the weapon
