Animated Goddess Statue

This is yet another based and re-painted Monster In My Pocket figure.
The figure's official name is the rather clunky '6-Armed Sorceress' but it clearly represents a certain Indian Goddess (I am informed the figure was originally called Kali, but was changed after complaints from Hindu communities, who were offended by their 'Goddess of Destruction' being portrayed as some kind of destructive monster).
Being a fan of the great Ray Harryhausen (the god of awesome monster effects) I painted the figure as an ancient bronze statue to resemble the statue of Kali brought to life by the sorcerer Koura (played by Tom Baker) in The Golden Voyage of Sinbad.

The model was painted with P3 Molten Bronze and given highlights of the amusingly named P3 Brass Balls mixed with Molten Bronze (unfortunately the Brass Balls paint had been left on a shelf for a long time and settled in the pot, so I can't guarantee anyone else would get the same colour).
The verdigris was added with a few randomly placed heavy dry-brushings of Citadel Hawk Turquoise and Citadel Rotting Flesh mixed with yet more Molten Bronze
Citadel Badab Black, Citadel Thrakka Green and Army Painter Strong Tone Ink were used for shading.

In my games the figure will most likely see use a Animated Statue type Golem, it bears some resemblance to the female face on my Chaos Shrine so it could work quite well acting as some kind of temple guardian in the same dungeon. With 6 sword attacks and a good deal of Damage Resistance it should make for a fearsome foe.
