Dont listen to Zero puncutation... He has bad things to say about every game.
I bought it and thought it was brilliant. It wasnt worth buying but its prob worth renting. Its a short game with not much reply value.
I would say Rent it if you are able.

I know this is REALLY delayed but, try Eternal Darkness: you HAVE to do three runs through for all the cut-scenes and the sanity meter makes it pure gold.

i find with computer games (more with the 360 than i ever did with the old PS2) its a bit of a hit or miss some games look good from the the cover or an add but thats about it some that come to mind are bulletstorm, homefront & sniper  then you get some which get no airtime but the game are so cool it keeps you coming back for more  
so its a case of buyer beware!

...actually, which Alone In The Dark are you talking about? There's around 5 of them(Two of which have the same name).
