Being from Sweden I don't get all the British references from time to time.

In the entry about ogryns there's a picture of an ogryn using a ripper gun (or whatever it was, since the Ripper Gun wasn't available back when RT first came out) to sellte a dispute with an eldar.

There was a caption reading "Dib Dib Dib, Dob Dob Dob"
Does this have any meaning whatsoever to you Brits or ist it just some random nonsense?

Its a cub scouting thing as far as I know. I think its ment to be spelt dyb rather than dib as I think its ment to be acroynms for 'Do your best' and 'Do our best', but I guess its said more like dib. So yes its basicly referancing that Ogryns are on the same level as a 10 year old kid.

I also seem to remeber reading somewhere (but not the RT book itself) that ogryns can only say "Dib" and "Dob"

Man, I miss some of the older stuff from RT.

IG Beastmen, the Bob Olley ogryns and of course the old school Adepta Sororitas with their wimples and barbed boob-armour.

And let's not forget The Sensei (and The Grey Sensei).

As yes, the quasi-intelligent orangutans with an instinctive knowledge of complex technology are called 'Jokaero'. Along with Petra Squirrels and Grox they are still hinted at in a lot of 40k books even today although no rules for using them in games have appeared since the days of RT.


 ^As you'd expect the few miniatures GW produced to represent them are rather fought after.

Are the Jokareo digital weapons still available?
I know they're hinted at in some of the recent novels.

yea they are still around by think they are (like so many things now) Spacemarines only equipment, Inquisitors probably have access to them too though not that that counts

InQuisters in 40k can have a diget weapon, but it is a hit once per turn at strengh 4. close combat only.
always get to try and hit first before any other attacks.
